Division 02 / Make the business understandable

Be clear to people. Be readable to machines.

Search optimization, answer-engine optimization, generative-engine optimization and a machine-readable digital presence. Begin with what your business needs to be understood for.

Found by people. Understood by machines.

A business can be visible and still be misunderstood. Missing facts, unclear service pages and inconsistent identity leave both visitors and machines to fill in the gaps.

01

Search: help people find a useful page

Connect a real question to a clear page, supported by accessible content, meaningful links and a structure that can be crawled.

02

Answers: make the useful part explicit

State what something is, who it serves and how it works. Direct answers should be supported by the detail needed to trust and interpret them.

03

Generative systems: make relationships clear

Describe the organization, its offerings and the connections between them consistently. Machine readability begins with accurate information, not a special file or a visibility promise.

An explanatory example

What the visitor reads

02 / Define the engagement
Proposed scope · Awaiting business confirmation

Make the deliverables part of the conversation.

A discovery baseline

Proposed output: a record of relevant pages, search questions, identity inconsistencies and technical access issues.

An information plan

Proposed output: page priorities, explicit answers, service relationships and the facts needed to support them.

Implemented changes and checks

Proposed scope: agreed content or technical changes, with checks that separate implementation evidence from later external visibility.

These are proposed scoping topics, not a fixed package or a delivery promise. Methods, outputs, responsibilities, timing and fees need to be confirmed before an engagement.

03 / A useful first message

Start with what you know.

  1. Which offering or question should people find you for?
  2. Which website and existing pages need attention?
  3. What would a useful inquiry or discovery outcome look like?

Keep the first message high-level. Do not include passwords, access tokens or confidential records.

04 / Questions worth asking

A few things to know.

What is the difference between SEO, AEO and GEO?

SEO focuses on discovery through search. AEO focuses on making information useful as a direct answer. GEO addresses how a business and its information may be understood in generative search and answer systems. The work overlaps around accurate, accessible, well-structured content.

Can NovaGrex guarantee a ranking or an AI recommendation?

No. External systems control indexing, ranking and inclusion. An engagement should define the changes being made and how they will be evaluated without promising placement.

Is structured data enough on its own?

No. Structured data should describe the same real information that a visitor can read on the page. It cannot substitute for missing business facts, useful content or accessible navigation.

Do I need a completely new website?

Not necessarily. The useful scope may be a set of page, content or technical changes. A rebuild should follow from a demonstrated constraint, not be the default recommendation.

How should progress be evaluated?

Separate what changed from what an external platform later did. Agreed implementation checks can cover access, page structure and factual consistency; discovery and inquiry measures need an appropriate baseline and access to real data.
